What happens when my baby is teething?
When your baby is teething, it means that their first teeth are pushing up through their gums and into their mouth. As their teeth cut through the gums it can cause your little one discomfort and pain, making them fussy and irritable. Babies usually start teething when they’re around 6 months and most children will have all their baby teeth by the time that they’re two and a half years old.
How will Ashton and Parsons Teething Gel help to ease teething pain?
Ashton and Parsons Teething gel helps to ease the pain caused by teething by forming a forming a protective barrier over the affected area. As the film builds up on baby’s gums it helps to ease pain as they’re eating, preventing further irritation and helping your little one to feel more comfortable.
How to use this product
For best results, apply Ashton and Parsons Teething Gel 3 – 4 times a day, preferably before and after baby’s sleep. Remove the cap from the applicator and gently squeeze the tube so a pea sized amount of teething gel is on the applicator. Use the applicator to apply the gel to the affected area and gently massage baby’s sore gum. Make sure that the cap is re-applied after each use. Next time you wish to use this product, clear any dried gel from the applicator with clean, dry hands before use.
When should this product not be used?
Do not use Ashton and Parsons Teething Gel if your child is allergic to any of the listed ingredients. This product should only be used for one patient and should not be shared amongst multiple people. This is to prevent cross-contamination of the applicator. This product is designed to be used in teething children rather than adults, but if you think this product may be suitable for you to use on yourself then speak to your doctor or pharmacist before use to ask their advice. If you are pregnant and want to use this product on yourself, you should speak to your doctor before use.
How to store this product
Store in a cool, dry place. Do not use this product if the expiry date printed on the original packaging has passed. Keep out of sight and reach of children.
