Nurofen Migraine Pain Maximum Strength is for the effective relief of migraine and headache pain.

Each tablet contains 400 mg of the active ingredient Ibuprofen (684mg as ibuprofen lysine).

Nurofen Migraine Pain Maximum Strength contains Ibuprofen Lysine, which belongs to a group of medicines known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). NSAIDs provide relief by changing the body's response to pain, swelling and high temperature.

Also contains: Povidone, sodium starch glycollate, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, talc, Opaspray White M-1-7111 B (contains hypromellose and titanium dioxide) and Opacode Black S-1-8152HV (contains iron oxide, shellac, soya lecithin and antifoam DC1510).

IMPORTANT

You should not take Nurofen Migraine Pain Maximum Strength if:

Have or have ever had a stomach ulcer, perforation or bleeding; Have severe liver, kidney or heart disease; You have had a worsening of asthma, allergic rash or itchy, runny nose when taking similar medicines; You have had an allergic reaction to aspirin, ibuprofen or any of the other ingredients listed above. Are in the last 3 months of pregnancy.

Ask your doctor or pharmacist before taking Nurofen Migarine Pain if:

You have asthma or have suffered from asthma or any allergic disease; You have heart, kidney, liver or bowel problems; You have Systemic lupus Erythematosus (SLE) - a condition of the immune system affecting connective tissue resulting in joint pains, skin changes and disorder of other organs; You are taking any regular medication, especially: aspirin at low dose,medicines for high blood pressure and water tablets, medicines for thinning the blood, corticosteroids, Methotrexate, Lithium, Zidovudine; You are in the first 6 months of pregnancy or breast-feeding

Not for children under 12 years of age.

Nurofen Maximum Strength Migraine Pain belongs to a group of medicines which may impair fertility in women. This is reversible on stopping the medicine. It is unlikely that Nurofen Maximum Strength Migraine, used occasionally, will affect your chances of coming pregnant. However, tell your doctor before taking this medicine if you have problems becoming pregnant.
