Gillette Fusion is the first and only shaving system that has breakthrough technology on the front and the back of the cartridge.
The front of the cartridge has 5 blades spaced closer together, forming a shaving surface. The blades of the shaving surface are spaced 30% closer together than those of MACH3Turbo. This configuration distributes the shaving force across the blades, resulting in extraordinary comfort. In addition to more comfort, the 5 Blade Shaving Surface Technology also engages more hairs, more times with successive cutting action.
The back of the cartridge features a truly innovative Precision Trimmer. The Precision Trimmer is a single blade built into the back of the cartridge. To use the trimmer, consumers turn the razor over. In this position, the pivot feature is locked, giving consumers control and allowing them to better align and manoeuvre the blade. The locked pivot allows consumers to easily shave tricky places like sideburns and under the nose. For the 39% of men in Europe who have facial hair, the Precision Trimmer is also perfect for shaping around facial hair.
Gillette Fusion features a new Flexible Comfort Guard which follows the contours of the face to help the Shaving Surface comfortably shave close.
The Indicator Lubrastrip has been enhanced: shave by shave, the entire Indicator Lubrastrip and not just one stripe gradually fades from green to white when optimal shave conditions have been reduced.
Gillette Fusion features a new forward pivot. The restoring force of the cartridge has been improved allowing the cartridge to respond more quickly to help follow the contours of the face.

Gillette Fusion Power's five blades contain a patented coating, Thin Uniform Telomer, present on all Gillette power cartridges, resulting in Gillette's smoothest, most uniform blade coating. This Thin Uniform Telomer reduces the cutting force, providing incredible glide and comfort
The Enhanced Indicator Lubrastrip contains an additional premium ingredient: Natural Oils.
Compared to M3Power, Gillette Fusion Power contains significant enhancements to both the inside and outside of the razor handle.
On the inside: Unlike M3Power, the Gillette Fusion Power handle contains a micro-chip. The micro-chip enables three primary functions: the Voltage Controller, the Low Battery Indicator Light and the Automatic Shut-Off feature.
On the outside: The on-off button on the Gillette Fusion Power handle has been enhanced to prevent accidental activation or deactivation while shaving.
