It is used for relief of pain including muscle & joint pain, backache, fibrositis, tennis elbow, sports injuries (eg. sprains, strains) & for pain due to non-serious arthritis.

It can also be used for headaches, migraine neuralgia, period and dental pain.

Warnings
Do not use Cuprofen Plus;

If you are allergic to ibuprofen, codeine or any of the other ingredients, aspirin or other painkillers;

If you have had, or are suffering from, stomach ulcers or other stomach disorders;

Within 4 hours of taking other ibuprofen or codeine containing products.

Consult your doctor:

If you are taking drugs prescribed for depression, to thin the blood, or for high blood pressure (water tablets);

Before taking if you are pregnant or breast feeding
Immediately if you exceed the maximum daily dose;

For dosage advice if you are elderly and have liver or kidney problems.
Before taking if you suffer from or have a history of asthma;

If your headache becomes persistent; If symptoms persist.

Side Effects:

Stomach pains or discomfort and occasionally peptic ulcer and bleeding in the stomach may occur.

Nausea, constipation, dizziness or drowsiness may also occur.

If you experience unexplained wheezing, shortness of breath, skin rash, itching, bruising or facial swelling stop taking the medicine at once and tell your doctor.
Do not exceed the stated dose:
Do not take more than the stated dose and do not take every day for more than 3 days unless told to do so by your doctor.

Contains codeine: regular use for long periods of time may result in symptoms such as restlessness and irritability when you stop taking this medicine.
If you need to use this product all the time, see your doctor straight away.
May cause drowsiness. if affected do not drive or operate machinery.
Keep safely away from children.
