Indications

For the treatment of vaginal thrush (candidiasis) 

Directions

Adults: insert contents of filled applicator intra-vaginally at night. 

Children: not to be used. 

Ingredients

Vaginal cream containing: Clotrimazole 10%. 

Warnings

See your doctor as soon as possible and DO NOT use the pessaries if you have any of the following symptoms: 

Irregular Vaginal Bleeding, Abnormal Vaginal Bleeding, Ulcers, Blisters, Sores or Pain of the Vagina, Pain in passing Urine, Fever or Chills, Diarrhoea. 

If you are unsure or it is the first time you have had the symptoms or are pregnant consult your doctor. 

Side Effects

Rarely Canesten pessaries may cause side effects similar to the symptoms of thrush. 

If the redness, burning or swelling get worse, stop using the pessaries and see your doctor as soon as possible.
