Canesten Cream 1% x 50g [P]

Indications

Canesten 1.0% Cream may be used to treat fungal skin infections such as ringworm, athlete's foot, fungal nappy rash and fungal infection of the breast fold (intertrigo). 

It may also be used for the treatment of irritation of the vulva (entrance to the vagina) or end of the penis (glans) which may be associated with thrush. 

Directions

Apply thinly and evenly to the affected area 2 or 3 times a day and rub in gently. 

If the feet are infected, they should be washed and dried thoroughly, especially between the toes, before applying the cream. 

The duration of treatment depends on the type of infection. 

Generally a minimum of 2 weeks is required, although more than 4 weeks may be necessary. 

Ingredients

A white cream containing 1.0% clotrimazole BP.
