Anadin Ultra Double Strength 400mg Capsules
Twice the liquid ibuprofen power in one†, Anadin Ultra Double Strength liquid capsules target tough pain like back pain or join pain. So strong you only need one capsule, for pain relief that lasts up to 8 hours.
Effective relief from:
- Back pain
- Joint or rheumatic pain
- Muscle ache
- Migraine
Each liquid-filled capsule contains 400mg of Ibuprofen.
Anadin Ultra Double Strength is available in packs containing 10 or 20 liquid filled soft capsules, and available only from your pharmacy.
Dosage:
Adults, the elderly, and children over 12 years of age: The minimum effective dose should be used for the shortest time necessary to relieve your symptoms. Take 1 capsule up to 3 times a day as required. The capsule should be taken with water. Do not chew. Take only as much as you need to relieve your symptoms and leave at least 4 hours between each dose. Do not take more than 3 capsules in any 24 hour period. Do not give to children aged under 12 years of age, unless on the advice of a doctor. Do not exceed the stated dose. If symptoms persist for more than 10 days or symptoms worsen, stop taking this medicine and consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Before you take Anadin Ultra Double Strength 400mg Capsules:
Please read the following information. Do not give to children under 12 years.
Do not take if you:
- Have or have ever had a stomach ulcer, perforation, or bleeding
- Are allergic to ibuprofen or any other ingredient of the product, aspirin or other related painkiller
- Are taking other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAIDs) painkillers, or aspirin with a daily dose above 75mg
- Are taking warfarin
- You are pregnant
Talk to your pharmacist or a doctor before taking this medicine if you are:
- Taking any other anticoagulants, or any water tablets, tablets for blood pressure, corticosteroids or lithium, methotrexate or zidovudine
- Breast-feeding, asthmatic, or suffer from kidney, heart or liver problems, or any allergic reactions which cause skin rashes, joint pain or fever
- Trying to become pregnant (Ibuprofen belongs to a group of medicines (NSAIDs) which may impair fertility in women. This is reversible on stopping the medicine)
- Taking aspirin with a daily dose below 75mg
- If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars because this product contains sorbitol (E420)
